White Christmas

Well it looks like a white christmas here in star valley, but that's not unusual. This little valley doesen't have an ugly side or season. Anyone who hasn't visited really should. I'm not sure i'd make the trip in the winter my first time out, maybe summer or fall. The colours in the fall at fantastic. Stop and shop for a bit in Afton, then drive north to thayne ( 15 - 20 min north ) then stop at Juan's house of Tacos for some food. Enough of the pitch for Star Valley, but there are few places like it left.

A gift from my buddy Al Simpson..

I thought i'd share my nice gift from Sen. Al Simpson. We've been working on a doc. about him and he ask me if i had one... Anyway he signed it and wrote some very nice things.

I don't know if anyone else noticed walmart's new logo, but they blew-up the smiley face into 6 splat marks. The best thing is knowing that walmart probably has some mantra behind all 6.

I must say i really miss the food options that came with living in SLC. One of my favorites is Pei Wei. It's a spin-off of P. F. Chang's and it is the best. So if in SLC ans you want a good and fast asian resturant. This is the place.

And I'm out of there!

Well it's over now I find out if they'll pay on the invoice.

Gathering dust waiting.

So i'm stuck sitting here waiting for the site producer to actualy ask someone if they wanna do the video thing. Instead she's a townie and is chatting it up. We're not gonna make 150 interviews. I'm only at 60 and i'm inly here two more hours.

Anytime now......

So the goal is 150 people. After that i'm done, kinda.. Well after about 50 my site producer lost ambition and interviews stopped.. Help me..

This is Thanksgiving on an epic scale. 40 or 50+ people killng off 3 turkeys, and 25lbs of potatos.

Watching Camie in the kitchen with her brother is funny. More time is spent horsing around than actually cooking. Nichole could not handle not being in the picture, so I had to take a picture of her.

Okay... So we thought he'd fit

So we're doing the whole travel to SLC thanksgiving thing. Today was our first whole day in the city, and Camie and I gave Izacc a snack. Cheetoos look awsome when you've passed out holding the bag. Also we have forgotten just how LARGE our son has become. Unfortunatly we discovered this after putting him in the basket. I'm not quite sure how we're gonna get him out.

So how cheap can I be. Red box is only $1 ,but I only rent on free Mondays it seems. Oh well ... I'm ok with being cheap.

I'm in limbo.

I'm suck in a room with people deciding between 2 colors of red. Both of which are exactly the same.. One's a little pinker than the other, but the difference is so small that no one would ever know.

Mondays = Meetings

Monday meetings are the round table for hearing how my life will be determined. I must say it's the same thing over and over again.

As much as he hated seeing himself in HD, Michael did a good job. I was a little disappointed because it took me forever to make a dark theater look alright. Keep yer peepers peeled in feb-09 and see how it turned out.

Splua-doosha

Sept-2008 On the road shooting documentarys. After waiting around to video Old Faithful 4 times, I can say i'm bored.
